Looks like media darling Ayesha Curry can do something wrong after all. In spite of being held up as “the perfect woman” by dudes who use Curry as a weapon against others, the mom and chef caught a social media fade over the weekend after posting a picture of her latest culinary creation to Instagram.
Curry, who has both a cookbook and a Food Network cooking show in the works, shared a quick snap of her meal–lemony buttery chicken and cheddar smashed potatoes. Though it sounded (and probably tasted) delicious, the picture didn’t quite do the dish justice.
And of course, people on Twitter and Instagram let Curry know how they really felt about the “struggle plate.”
This is who the food network is giving a cooking show to…. pic.twitter.com/19QwCsw3yG

LIKE WE DON'T SLANDER EVERY STRUGGLE MEAL ON THIS HERE TWITTER. Ayesha doesn't have immunity, and that food looked nasty as hell. Deal.

Ayesha Curry whipped up something a drunk student would after a night out and posted it on Instagram pic.twitter.com/yWoXxIqmK6

Just realized that Ayesha's potatoes were the same color as Trump's face.

While some folks had a field day going in on Curry, she wasn’t about to let the struggle plate slander slide.
@SportsTalkSal What’s most funny about this is that this a dish from one of the #1 chefs in the world and not mine. Jokes on you. #read
