So, Black Twitter is seriously on a roll. Perhaps everyone is high off Patti Pies, or maybe all the good eating that’s about to go down this weekend has everyone feeling giddy. But fresh off the comical hashtag #CelebritiesOnlyBlackPeopleKnow, Black Twitter is back with another hit, #ThanksgivingWithBlackFamilies.
The tag, which flawlessly, and hilariously, breaks down what a typical Thanksgiving celebration in a Black family is like, seemed to begin with a Twitter user by the name of Yusufyuie.
All your aunties in the kitchen cooking to "The Best Of Anita Baker" #ThanksgivingWithBlackFamilies
— Veteran Freshman (@yusufyuie) November 23, 2015
After Yusufyuie fired off a few zingers, the hashtag quickly filled with more than 343,000 tweets in the first few hours as folks shared clever memories about food, family, and holiday fun.
Take a look.
