Fresh off the hilarity of #NigeriansAtHogwarts, Black folks are once again lighting up Twitter with #IfHogwartsWasAnHBCU, a humorous take on what would happen if Harry Potter attended a historically Black college.
While #IfHogwartsWasAnHBCU popped up as early as 2011, this weekend’s #NigeriansAtHogwarts and #JamaicansAtHogwarts no doubt reinvigorated the hashtag. It also proved Black folks love fantasy books like Harry Potter, too.
