Fresh off the heels of her latest highly anticipated album Lemonade, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, everyone was waiting to see what Beyoncé would wear to this year’s Met Gala. The general public assumed Queen Bey, judging from previous years, would completely slaughter the competition but when she arrived, many were rendered speechless; left unsure as to what exactly led her to this interpretation of the theme, “Fashion In The Age Of Technology.”
Bey chose a skintight latex Givenchy gown featuring puffed sleeves, pearl and floral embellishments. Each individual pearl is said to have been priced at six to eight thousand dollars each.
